Zoodles alla Bolognese

Serves 3 to 5


  • 1 jar Monte Bene Tomato Basil pasta sauce
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef or ground turkey
  • 3 large zucchinis
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. onion, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Pecorino Romano cheese, grated.


Slice your zucchinis into noodles using a julienne slicer or thing knife. In a medium saute pan, saute olive oil and onion until onion begins to turn translucent. Add zucchini noodles and gentle saute until noodles are just softened. Plate. In a large skillet, granulate ground beef or turkey until fully cooked, adding salt and pepper. Pour in Monte Bene Tomato Basil pasta sauce. Simmer on low until sauce begins to bubble, then remove from heat and add sauce mixture to zoodles. Top with Pecorino Romano cheese, extra zucchini slices, and serve.

A healthy twist on noodles that will still keep the whole family happy!
