Spaghetti Bolognese
         


 
Ingredients:

  • 1 - 24 oz. jar of Monte Bene™ Garlic Marinara pasta sauce

  • 1 lb spaghetti

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • ½ cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese

  • 2 tbs of unsalted butter

  • 1 tsp salt


Directions:

  • Cook pasta al dente (8-10 minutes), then drain
  • In a 10-12" deep skillet, cook the ground beef on medium-high until cooked thoroughly.
  • Be sure to stir to get meat granulated and cooked through.
  • Drain excess fat and sprinkle with salt. Stir meat to mix with the salt.
  • Add Monte Bene™ Garlic Marinara pasta sauce and butter.
  • Bring to a simmer on medium heat. Stir constantly to get the butter well mixed in, approximately 2 minutes.
  • Take ½ cup of sauce and mix with the spaghetti so that it does not stick
  • Simmer meat and sauce for an additional 2 minutes
  • Plate pasta and top evenly with sauce. Sprinkle with Pecorino Romano and serve.
